sorry to repost. I have searched and searched and can't find the answer. I only have weekends to tune so times a wastin...
My problem is this..... with the anlu bin the car runs fine, but if i change anything the ses light flashes and car runs in limp mode.
I didn't have this problem with my 7747, just make changes and upload.
What's the deal?

Need a little more info, what program are you using to do this with? Are you putting it into the 8746 or 7747? Do you have the correct file definition selected? Do the check sums update when you finish a edit? What chip are you using? what is your offset set to when you burn a chip?
To many variables to say why your going into limp home mode. But a shot in the dark would be that your offsets are not set correctly when your do a chip. MY own opinion of course.
In my own opinion I have found the "AA being put at $0004" is more a pain in my a$$ than it is to just make sure checksums are correct. It was told to me but I had to find out for myself that is was just better to leave it alone.
Off the post question, is this for your wrangler? Didnt see any other vehicles on your profile.

the ecu is an 8746 the bin is anlu. using tunerpro rt and an ostrich. everything works fine with no changes to the bin, make any changes whatsoever to the bin and no worky just flashing ses light.
this is a 1988 IROC with 1998 vortec 350,performer RPM intake, with my own homemade tbi adaper, holley 670 tbi, mild comp cams hyd roller cam.,
worked fine with a 7747 box and changing the bin. went to the 8746 box and now i can't modify the bin and NOT get a flashing ses light. Have tried several different .xdfs and .Bins

got it.... In the preferences in tunerpro rt, I uploaded AA to 04 instead of 08 to disable the checksum.
