How can I tell my EGR is turned off

What do you look at to make sure your EGR stuff is turned off? Can I see this with my scanner or look at it with win aldl? I used the constants to set the MPH and Map to redic. settings but would like to make sure its not affecting anything. Or what are the other factors to adjust to make sure its off? Not sure if I leave other factors in tables if it is still off?

i have played with Win ALDL but i don't use it, but i think it has something that shows the EGR Duty Cycle. play a log file & watch what ever it has for the EGR, if you see a duty cycle then its not turned off.

Everything I have ver done to turn the EGR off is to find the temp enable and put it to llike 254deg.

I cant directly say for the TBI stuff but on the 148 turn code and the $8D and $6E stuff it works that way.

Also like Denn_shah said, if u datalog, just look at the recording and you will know immediately.

later
