A question about Chips and Temperature?

Hello all,

I have a Stage II chip. What I would like to know is, does the chip in conjunction with a 180 Stat and cool fan switch alter the factory parameters?

I think what I'm after is, does it reach closed loop at a different temp than it would in a totally stock configuration?

I have the cool fan switch and 180 stat that is recomended by jet, so it's basically a kit in it self I guess. I was out and about today and the outside temp was 59F or 15C. I was getting coolant temps of 158F or 70C. I just want to know if all would be operating as it should?

Thanks and sorry for the confusion.

Without doing a file compare, and looking up all the differences, you'll never know.
It's anyone's guess what any given chip guy might be doing.
