HELP!! LC-1 and EBL not displaying right??
Hey all, got my replacement LC-1 today, calibrated fine. I had my friends LM-1 hooked up to the ebl, set the voltage to 1 and 2, for afr 10 and 20, respectively. That worked fine. I tried the same thing with my LC-1 and the WUD shows an AFR of 19.stuff.
Can somebody PLEASE help out. What am I doing wrong?? BTW, the logworks doesn't read the LC-1 either.

The fact that Logworks is not reporting correctly is not a good sign. Try this: disconnect the LC1 output(s) from all logging tools. Hook up a DVM to read the voltage output of the LC1. With it programmed for 1-2 volts, the AFR is 10 to 20. Only need to move the decimal point by 1 digit.
1.42 volts is 14.2:1 AFR. Try that and see how it is. This would verify whether the LC1 is operating correctly or not.

I'll try that tomorrow when I get to work. Good thing I have it tuned close with the LM-1. I'm gonna try and run it strait to the battery with a relay too. I had the LM-1 hooked right to the battery and just pulled the plug whenm the car was off. I don't want to make this a permanent install 'casue I have 3 other cars I wanna use it in. Do you think that funky voltage coming from the fuse box would make it read all screwy?? I re-calibrated the thing and still get 19.stuff idling, but when I drive down the road it jumps all over the place. I'm not getting any LED codes.

Rewired it
Well, I got a relay and wired the POS and GRD right to the battery. Left the analog ground in the EBL. Seems to work in the parking lot here at work, It is reading the same as the LM-1 was the other day. It should be OK. I'll find out on the ride home though for sure.

Update
All seems to be well. I drove home and the display seemed to be working properly. No back to tuning. Thanks grumpy and rbob
