Bin names... Is there something I am missing?
Hey guys, I am new to this stuff and had a question here...
Say for instance on Craig Moate's website under the stock bin download section. How do I decipher the names on those bins? They are just a bunch of garbled letters and numbers to me. What is a "1576BBZA58.BIN " or a "AUJM 6E.BIN" for instance. Now I do recognize the 6E part but what is the rest of it telling me?
Thanks for your help.

The "BBZA" or "AUJM" are the broadcast code which is like an identifier for what vehicle the bins apply to. The "58" or "6E" is the mask saying what ECM the BIN fits. For example the "6E" or $6E ($=hexadecimal) mask is for the 01227165 ECM.
