if i was to choose a company to get a chip done, all i have to do is tell them my specs and they can do it right? i don't have to bring them the car so they can get it on the computer, do i? thanks

i dont think they can do it right.. my opinion. Toooooooo many variables involved
way overpriced too

 

Pablo is dead on. A Custom chip is not a custom chip unless they work with YOUR car to get the calibration correct. This means using instruments to determine if YOUR engine is running rich or lean as well as determining the best spark curve for your car as well as many other variables. Basically, over the phone programming just allows the guys burning your chip to make a guess. Are you satisfied with a guess?
