Removal of chips from carriers...

Is there any way to make the removal of the TBI PROMs from their plastic carriers any easier. Right now I'm using a shortened razor blade to pull the pins out of their "slots" and remove the PROM, one side at a time. Just wondering if any of the PROM tuners here had some insight on either modifying the carrier or making some kind of tool to simplify removal.

Push the prom into the carrier and pull the plastic tabs back a bit and when you release, the legs will come free.
