Is there a replacement ECM for the 746 (LO TBI)

I was looking at the posts and didnt really find an answer. I had cam and heads replaced and the map signal is off. Ed Wright is burning me a chip next week since I noticed that the car idles somewhat better with a stage 2 hypertech than a stage 1 hypertech. I think his Ed's tables might make this condition better. I was wondering if there is a faster ecm that will read the sensor inputs faster so that the engine management system is more efficient. Thank You.

the ecm is not to blame its perfectly adequate in fact if im not mistaken all c3 ecms have the same internal clock speed. The 746 is a fine ecm with actually more features than the 7747 unfortunately not all of them have been hacked as far as i know
I was tuning with my 746 for quite some time and then i made the mistake of thinking the ecm was bad and replaced it with a 7747, but knowing what i know now that was not necessary. conclusion, your ecm is fine its the same speed as most other ecms out there. What you are probably getting confused with is the ALDL data stream speed which is basically how quickly the aldl updates a scantool with information of whats going on, the tbi ecms are slower than some of the TPI ecms in that regard, but it makes absolutely no difference in its function, and besides, the scantool isnt important or essential (i dont even own one) to tune your car
