long term plan is to replace my 7.4L TBI /80 lb inj/20 lbs FP. with the above. i am awaiting the prominator-ham install from BILL. 8746 ECU. will then have EBL installled.

advantage of the Commander tbi is sequential throttle linkage and i assume sequential injector fire as well. seems more important on a relatively small 350 CID. IMO.

how close are we on the EBL's ability to fire four injectors and sequentially as well (2+2)? again a 8746 ECU if that matters.

 

Ronny, for an EBL/Prominator setup the EBL it needs to be installed before or with the Prominator. The reason is that the Prominator is configured to the BIN size and is soldered into the board. If it is installed in a stock ECM it will need to be removed (unsoldered), reconfigured, then re-installed into the EBL board.

The current 4 injector setup is to use all 4 injectors at the same time. This is how it would be used when placing two 2bbl TBI's on a dual quad manifold. Or using all 4 bbl's of a 4bbl at the same time.

I have also been working on a sequential (or progressive) setup. Not sure when I will have this available. Keeping cost down is a primary concern.

Thanks RRob. the ECU was shipped(my error) from seller(ebay) direct to BILL. can i assume when he receives he will ship to you BEFORE the prominator is installed? then you will ship back to BILL for install?

i will contact BILL now.

 

I don't know if Bill will ship to me first or not. Hopefully he hasn't installed and shipped back to you.
