Recommended burners

Ok, I've found the programs I keep seeing referenced to burn proms, but wht would you guys recommend for a burner? Multiple recommendations? I'm looking for ease of use and flexibility. I seem to remember that some of those programs are not as flexible as others. Anything on this subject I would appreciate. Also as a side note. All I can find in archives is the really old stuff. Anyone know when the current stuff will be up to browse? Thanks!!

I personally use the Pocket Programmer by Xtronics. Works great with all standard GM EPROMs and has a great price too. I list the web address of this company in my PROM burning article in the tech section of thirdgen.org

I've got a Needhams and a Pocket Programmer, the Needhams has never worked right on the 450Mhz machine, but used it for 5+ years on slower ones.
The pocket programmer is external and I can run it off of a laptop, in car if I want to.

Cool beans! Two stury votes for the pocket programmer! Thanks!

Anyone know what the minimum (or maximum for that matter) computer requirements are for the pocket programer? Speed/memory/hard drive space? I have an old beater desktop and laptop in the garage I'd like to use. What about the editor programs too?

I run GMEPro, and PP on a old AST laptop.
Tunercat as far as I know has to run on a win95 or newer system.
