Most folks around hear very strongly believe the AC-Delco 3 wire AFS-74 sensor is much better and more accurate than any other brands.....

I use one.

I wouldn't trust a dyno WB.
Who knows what's been blown across/ thru it, or how old it is?.

This is what Steve wrote:
I recently had installed DENSO 3 wire heated O2 sensors in my LT1, replacing the single wire BOSCH sensors that my tune was done on.
The reason I did this is my 93 LT1 has a LT headers and a medium cam, 230/236 XE in a stroker motor.
The tune was very good before, just the idle was burning my eyes because it wouldnt stay in closed loop. The Heated O2's fixed this.
The dyno before was 425 rwhp 428 tq with 12.9 AFR and now with the new O2's its running 14 to 1 AFR!
Also, the second Dyno was different from the original and the Wideband was placed in the tailpipe of the second run (which had lots of balck smoke) while the first dyno was in the bung right after the colector, but no black smoke.
On the road when I floor it it does the basic black smoke puff intially then there isnt any black cloud.

I wouldn't blame the narrowband O2 on the dyno readings, nor would I trust a tailpipe wb.

The puff of black smoke also means your AE calibration is a bit excessive. Got any friends that could loan you a wideband to put in the close mounted bung?

When I get back to Hawaii a friend is going to take me out with his LC1 and put it in the bung by my header collector I used for the first dyno where they registered 12.9 to 1, and we will drive it around and see what she does.
