How is this for a datalogger?

I found this on Ebay, I am wanting to use it on my 87 IROC, not sure if it will work correctly, but hey thats what forums are for right? Here is the link:

eBay Motors: ALDL TPI TBI GM OBD1 ECM DIAGNOSTIC CABLE (item 8011606376 end time Jul-29-06 10:37:46 PDT)

I know its kinda long, but you get the idea. Will this work with my ECM for logging data? Any thoughts here would help also Thanks.

Works fine, have had one for two years now.
the SW that is supplied are just copies of the demo versions available on the net. good deal if you don't want to make your own.
