A tube inside my MAF? No PROM burning needed? VADER I need help!!

Ok, i ripped out my 305 tpi and put in a fully modded 355 in its place. Its still tpi and is a 5-speed (1988 Firebird Formula) Some Summit tech guy told me that i have to change the tube that registers air in the MAF for my car to run properly. Whats he talking about? I never heard of this? Im still running the 305 stock chip and the car is running fine. (I got 24lb injectors) But everyone is telling my car has A LOT more potential because i need to have a new prom burned. OK, i know i need a chip, but what the hell is this tube thing he's talking about? He said he doesnt know who would make one but my car wont run right without one. WTF? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.....

BTW, the car is fully modded meaning, TFS heads, Edelbrock intake runners, baseplate, crane cam, gold rockers, msd, headers, full exhaust, 24lbers, afpr, yada,yada...

He is talking about the Ford MAF's as they have a sampling tube that is changed when changing injectors. Crack pipe talk for a chev.

lol, remember to never ask this guy for advice again. There are aftermarket Ford MAFs, that have interchangeable sampling tubes to trick the MAF for bigger injectors. The best ones are electronically calibrated, though.
