$350 for custom chip from Ed Wright ...worth it?
I am not cheap but why are chips that are done only 150 and custom jobs are 350 ? Is it that time comsuming? Should I think of learning to do it myself? Check out other places or what? I dont know if this is the right place to post this but I wanted info from guys that build chips. Any opions and or info welcome. Thanks

the $150 chips have minor modifications done to them so that a stock car or one with minor mods can use it. the custom jobs cost more because there is alot more work involved in making them. if i were you and i had time to do it i would learn to make my own chips, but some people dont have the time and just dont feel like messing with it. i have a little time on my hands and i use it to learn as much as i can, but i havent tried to modify the tables yet, i am more in the "scan" and go "ahh i see" stage.
