165 to 749

ok, I'm sold..Changing to a Syclone (749) from my 165 is the best way to manage my turbo. Now for the million dollar question. Should I , Adapt the 165 harness to the 749? or should I get a complete 730 (SD) harness since the 730 and 749 are basically the same ECM. I haven't compared the pinouts of the various ECM's, I have the schematics just haven't done a one on one compare. Would it be easier with the 730 vs. the 165 harness? thanks, Bob

Bob,
The 7747 and the 7165 are almost identical in pinout location. You can get the info. at DIY-EFI Incoming It will give you a diagram for the 165 ecm. If you can't find one for the 7747, email me @ nking262@bellsouth.net and I will send you the info. on the 7747.

Get the 730 bits,
Still some repinning needed.
You do know the 749 is a 3 connector ecm?.
So fair amount of spilicing
