EGR dissable
New at prom burning.
I haved Tuner Cat w/$8d file for 92tpi.
Where and how do you dissable the EGR.
I see in the switch table a EGR diagnostic- (error code 32) switch.
And in the ECM constants table I see a
EGR on (tps) & EGR off (tps)

Grumpy recommends that you control the EGR via the "temperature comparison to the MAT". This is not defined in the standard 8D TDF, but you can alter the 8D TDF with TDF Editor (its free for 30 days) and add the value. It is set stock to hex 1B (decimal 30) which seems to work out to be +5*C on my car for whatever reason.
I am finding that if you have an EGR, want to keep it and live in a cold climate, that you are better off to set it to a lower value, especially if you have a relocated MAT or TB Bypass. I set mine to Hex "0A" or decimal 10 and it seems to be functioning at -12*C (we are in a cold snap right now) with a relocated MAT and it is calculating the proper Injector Pulse Width (before it was too rich).
If you want to disable it, switch it to hex "FF" or decimal "255". The constant is locate at x"02B0". or "82B0" in the hack.

BTW, if you DON'T use TDF Editor to define the "location" and just "twiddle the bit manually" be aware that you will need to alter the "check sum" byte.
Get TDF Editor (if only for the 30 day period). I like it so much, that I bought it. A great tool if you are REALLY into the hack and eprom burning; and you want maximum "flexibility".
