Where to get connector for ALDL interface cable

I ordered the MAX232 sample chips and I'm interested in making an interface cable to connect to a laptop. Where can I get the ALDL connector? Is this a standard connector available from places like Digikey? Any suggestions for software for scanning with a laptop?

Thanks,
Shawn

Go to you local discount store like Wal-Mart. In the auto section they have a cheap code scanner for around $20(GM). Gut this thing and put your homemade stuff inside the case, attach a printer cable with the printer end cut off and you have a professional looking scanner cable.

I have done this same thing.
