ECM 730 BL / Int Learning mode

My question is will the ecm learn the new blm / int. after I made changes to the VE tables, If I have the scanner plugged in and monitoring the blm / Int, I heard some somthing about the ECM will not learn with the scanner plugged in.
or do I have to drive it around for a while with the scanner disconnected so It will learn, and then check Plug my scanner in after it has learned.
Thanks

Learns fine with the scanner plugged in. I can sit and watch my BLMs shoot down if I am running rich. In fact, there is a flag in Diacom that reports learning mode to tell you when the ECM is in 'learning mode'.

Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.
