Just install DOS on the machine. Then edit the autoexec.bat file and add a line at the bottom to start Diacom. When the computer boots, it'll parse the autoxec.bat file and it'll find your Diacom line and it'll start it automagically. That's how I have mine set up
Enter something like:
c:\diacom\gmecm.exe
Or, if you want to use a path statement:
PATH=c:\diacom\
gmecm.exe
that'd work too.
I'd recommend the first method. Good luck

I do something similar to Dirk, except I have a BAT command called D.BAT in the "root directory" (same directory where autoexec.bat is. It has the same command that Dirk typed for the first option.
Then I just type "D" when in DOS and executes Diacom. This is useful because my "old notebook" has W95 and I use that for TunerCat. So I just swap between Dos and W95.
But if you have nothing except Diacom on it, then I'd do as Dirk suggests, since it has no other purpose.
