I have tried Diacom on a variety of computers with no problems. BUT, you must be in MS DOS mode for it to function properly when connected to the ALDL. It usually doesn't function properly if you try to start it from Windows.
The only time I will run Diacom within Windows is when I want to translate a file from its GDF to DBF format. This functions fine. But now when I try scanning the ALDL. To much stuff happening and frames don't get read properly through the parallel port.
I haven't tried running it with a Windows ME system, because ME does not support DOS Mode anymore. But it works fine on my W95 and W98SE systems, when I either start them directly in MS DOS or "Restart" in MS DOS mode.
