i have 87 firebird 2.8 bored0.30 over jacobs pro street ignition, crane compu cam 2030
total rebuild my question is i have 15lb injectors stock and i ordered accel #150618
18lb injectors will my car run right with that and a hypertech stage II chip i dont want any problems the first time i start this motor to break it in and should i look into a custom chip

can one of you chip programers answer my question please will 18lb injectors run
on my set up with just a hypertech stage II
chip or will the computer not know how much air to give it will bigger injectors be a problem

First - this topic does not belong in this forum. This forum is for 'Do-it-yourself' chip programmers. It is not a general forum for asking questions concerning 'will these injectors work with this setup', etc.

IMHO, 18lb injectors would be too much. You are talking about increasing the injectors from 15 to 18lb which is 20%! That is huge if you are intending to run with the stock type chip (which the HyperJunk is!). Even TPI guys have a problem when going from 22lb injectors to 24lb injectors (and that is only a 9% increase).
