I was wrong about the Trick Flow's

Well in a recent post I said that my new Trick Flow 23 degree heads didnt make that much of a difference. Well they DO. I just burned a new chip based on a 90 6 speed 350 corvette and it dropped my et by 6 tenths. That's almost 60 horspower without the accel intake bolted on. Just with a stock TPI. I'm hoping for a full second gain when port and match the new Accel to the heads.

Trick Flow 23° heads, Comp Cams XR270HR-10 cam, Accel intake base + ported TPI,
TES headers, Flowmaster catback, MSD ignition, #24 SVO injectors, 1LE aluminum driveshaft.

hey Blade, I am trying to get my spark table down and was wondering if you could tell me something about the table from the 90 vette. Did the table look really high to you at cruise? I am looking at an 89 vette table and it gets as high as 48!

Well I didnt actually have time to look at the tables in great details but it does have pretty high number at cruise and low MAP values. I just burned it last nite "for the hell of it" to see if it would make a difference and it sure the hell did !! Now when I get home I will look at the bin and make more changes. I'll look at it for you if you want.. but it might be a bit difference since this is a speed density setup.

Ya, and in Dissy applications you need to be real careful running up there. That's part of the reason for DIS, lessens the chance of cross firing. remember cylinder to cylinder firing happens ever 45d so you can get the spark jumping to the wrong cylinder. Also there is a max d timing setting.
