Couple of questions

Does anyone know where I can purchase a 27C128 EPROM? I've looked at JDR and Motorola, but I can only find 27128, 27128A, 27C128A, etc. but that's it.

Also, on WinBin, what ECU file is 89v3? I'm assuming it's for viewing ARAP BINs because everything seems normal when viewing it, except the EGR duty cycle 3d tables. It shows 255 for every load above 800 RPMs. Also, the numbers representing the load in the table, are not consecutive and don't seem to make sense. Thanks in advance!

Those chips are all basically the same chip I believe...I use 27c128 chips on my MAF car...

As for Winbin...there is a v4 6e def file out there now and I believe as soon as Dan Townsend get's settled in Dallas he will be updating it with a rev 5 if he hasn't already...there are a few things that are messed up in it that he knows about...but if the values look funky...they are probably wrong messed up in the ecu file...the 89v3 simply means v3 of the 89 or 6e def file...hence it is the correct ecu file for your arap bin...

To clarify and add to what GregF said, a 27C128A chip will work fine. And JDR does have a 27C128 chip listed, but it starts with AM (I think that's the manufacturer's abbreviation).

The latest version of the 6E code ecu file for WinBin is at:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/3rd-gen/files/

and is version 4. In WinBin, the 3D tables are shown in their raw values. There's a button on the bottom-right of the screen to show calculated values. 255 as a raw value (in hex) is 100% as the EGR duty cycle. Generally, this number is either 0 or 100% in that table from what I've seen.
