Higher idle with ARAP?

Axle/Gears: 3.70 moser 9"
Higher idle with ARAP?
What are your idle speeds with the unmodified ARAP.bin install? I installed mine and it idles at 1000 rpm in park/neutral and 750 in drive. Stock 89 bin idles at 750 p/n and 500 in drive. Is the higher degree advance at idle responsible?

Well have you set minimum idle? sounds like its too high, look for the commanded idle in the arap bin and set minimum idle just under that
btw, AOD is a ford transmission, the one that came in mustangs

Thanks Pablo, I'll change the signature. I just thought it represented 'Automatic OverDrive' in the generic sense. I'll have a look into your suggestion too.
