305-350 puter

Just a simple quicky here

1985 IROC, if i swap the 305 to a 350 will i need a different computer? and why?

Nope, but you'll need a different knock sensor (not positive about that one), ESC module, injectors (if you're making a lot more power), and of course tuning the chip for your engine. The computer will be the same.

From what i understand, you'll need an 85 vette chip to start with(since they came with a 350). From there you can "start" to tune it if you decide on doing that. But from looking over various webpages and diacom scans, the 85ecm is a joke and not worth the time. It is very slow and the memory capcity is very limited.

dont change a thiing the 305 chip will work however check for a lean condition due to the smaller injectors and different pulse width etc.i,ve done two like it and the 350's ran better with the 305 chip
