What year is your car? An AUJP is a 92 350 automatic, an AUJL might be a 92 350 automatic as well. The ARAP chip is for 86-89 MAF cars only.

I have an '89 Iroc with L98 MAF. I purchased the ARAP bin part number 16134193 and installed it, reset the computer and put the timing back down to 6 degrees.....But now I have a problem....the primary fan(the one on the drivers) side stays on all the time????? Any ideas? It didnt do it with the stock bin. On a good note the car idles a lot better and seems a bit peppier. Well that fan always running makes me think that the car is in limp home mode.....is there a way to check? When I turn the key to on but dont start it I get a solid SES light and no SES light while driving so I dont know.
Thanks for any help!!

Hmmmm, the stock (ARAP) fan-enable temps are 226 degrees, so I don't know what'd be causing that. As far as your computer going into limp-home mode, you'd know it if it was.
The check engine light would come on, and the car would not run very well, very sluggish in fact, and the TCC wouldn't lock up. It's normal for the SES light to come on when the key is on but the engine's not started, as least from what I remember.

I believe that someone posted it correctly in another thread that the NO vs. NC for the A/C head pressure switch is incorrect in the ARAP binary, causing the fan to be on constantly.
