EBL VE1 and VE2 as seen in TP

i am about to move my .bin values from my $42 into EBL.

took a look at a .bin from another forum member that is using EBL with the VE "extended tables".

i am seeing in TP, that .bin(not mine) has VE % FL1 with a MAP scale 20-100 and RPM 400-3200. i also see VE 2 as % for RPM 0-6400 with 400 RPM increments. so appears as an add on scenario somewhat like the VE1 and VE 2 we had B4. the EBL/VE does not exceed 100% as it should not.

Question is is there any propoertionality to the two VE tables? i see 3200 rpm/100 map is a value of 53 and at 3200 rpms in VE1 is 32 for a total % of 85. when i move my current values what % goes to each table? or does it not matter.

same with datalogging. if i need to mod the VE do i do two calcs? seems i would need two unless the VE Learn is the final answer. not yet read up on that.

The EBL has two separate VE tables. No adder tables. This has been cleared up as it was a misunderstanding of the definition files.

VE learn means i need not do the manual calcs? i assume VE-L updates each table.

Yes, the VE Learn will update both VE tables. The 400-2000 RPM table and the 2000-6400 RPM table.

The WOT cells (basically the 90 - 100 KPA range) will probably need to be manually tweaked. Unless a drag run is made the engine is only in the high KPa area for a very short period of time. So little data is collected.

Best to ease into this area and check the AFR. Then adjust as required and go further into it. Starting out rich is a good idea. Then lean (lower the VE) as required to the proper AFR.
