Pocket programmer question?

I haven't had time to desolder my eprom from the memcal so I have downloaded a few bins from the net to get more familiar with eprom burning. My question is, how do I get the bins that I have downloaded to the C drive into the buffer? I have tried many different "paths" but nothing is working. Thanks

Ok, the pocket programmer is a little confusing here but once you figure it out it's ok. First of all I recomend creating a new folder in c drive with a short name like bins, download or save your bins to this folder, this will make it easier to keep them organized.

Now once in fileprom and you've picked your prom type your ready to load the buffer.
You can either use option 2 (P) to program directly or use option 11 to load the bin to the buffer but not program.

In either case you'll be brought to a screen that says enter path name. Since you've put all your bins into the folder named bins all you need to do is type:

\bins
then hit enter and it will display all the files in that folder. Just pick the one you want:

arap
you don't need to type the .bin extension, just the name. Hit enter and it will bring you back to the main menu and the selected bin will be in the buffer.

It's a lot nicer in the windows version but it doesn't always work.
That should do it, I couldn't figure it out at first either.
