Repinning from 870 to 7730

Is there a special tool I need to pull the pins from the connectors? If so, does anyone have a part number for it? I really would love to drive my car again someday...

Which of these tools do you have? Can they be bought from GM or a regular electronics store?

I used a small screwdriver with a flat end and ground it further so it fit in the plug pocket for release.

Any good electronics store will have a pin removal tool. They come in several sizes, and are usually used for the amphenol (amp) style pins. You can usually buy new pins as well in case you break some of your old ones. If you do replace the pins, crimp and solder them, otherwise the connections will not stand up.
