The biggest problem with your MAF 383 will be it will be running too rich due to those 30 lb injectors.

Displacement is not an issue with a MAF car as it bases everything on air flow, in fact, there is no provision in the MAF eprom to define the displacement of the engine. I have successfully installed the ARAP BIN that is intended for a 350 in a 305 and the only change I had to make (other than a few other tweaks) was for the smaller injectors. When adjusted for the smaller injectors, the 305 ran damn near 128/128 perfect.

With a big mouse, the 255 gm/sec may become a limitation within a normal operating range. It really depends on how much air it needs to consume, and where.

So I take it I should not drive it then?? or is it ok? I am new at learning all this stuff. As for the parameters and changes to make on my Haltech, any computer tweaks I am still new at. I am used to just buying a chip.

I would do some reading of the Prom burning introduction article and then do some more reading of the article, and then maybe even go over it a third time.
See get the back stuff needed to make your own chips, if you could get enough to change just the injector constant and maybe a few other small things, you could "probly" drive the engine till it was broke in.

My 355 tpi (fully modded, heads cam, everything) was put it in in place of my stock 305 tpi.
The chip is even stock. I have like 5k on the engine and its running fine although i do realize that i need to burn a new chip for it to see my real gains.
