what should these parameters read?

I just got my EASE scanning software yesterday. Like diacom but for windows and cheaper especially in cdn dollars.

I can view 47 parameters.

I ran my first engine scan today and managed to save the file. I am now wondering what is normal for these parameters and what is not as the fellow who last tuned my engine (i now have tunercat as well) started with an unknown file off the net for an 87GTA350.

My computer is a 1227165 with a $32B mask and akfm broadcast code. My car had a 305 and now has a modified 355.

Questions - are these normal at startup idling in park?
- 3rd gear status = on
- 4th gear status = usually off, intermittently on
- long term fuel trim = -3.1%
- maf 1.5 lb/min
- overdrive = on
spark control counts = 0
block learn multilier 124 to 126
cannister purge duty cycle = 0.0
egr duty cycle = 0.0
high battery status = off
Learn control = off
maf = 11.4 gm/sec
Park/Neutral = drive (it is really in park)

Everything else looks normal - is there a book on how to interpret these or to tell me what normal would be.

I am getting a stock chip as well tomorrow but some of these may be none chip issues - e.g. wiring?

I just looked some of these up in a parameter table that came with the s/w and it looks like
at startup idling in park these parameters should read
- 3rd gear status sh be off
- 4th gear status sh be off
- overdrive sh be off
spark control counts sh be counting
cannister purge duty cycle might be ok
egr duty cycle more thought req'd
Learn control = ???
Park/Neutral sh say PARK

I wonder if when they put in that aftermarket shifter they didn't hook up the ecm wire? Would this reduce the driveability of the car?

I have driven it for 8 months this way.
