first use of above. need some help.
here's what i did.

1. booted laptop.
2. loaded prominator software
3.it says connect P to PC which i assumed is connect to parrallel port. seems if already connected will not recognize the P? don't understand why?
apply power. i turned on ign.
5. located .bin in my documents. loaded RonEBL.bin which is EBL .bin with my modifications.
6. all went well cept when i crank starter nothing.
tried again and same story. after multiple attemps i rec'd some error meassages and interior lights flicker as door open

a.runtime error.
b.failed address (0) verify error
c.target busy

also i tried to get Whats Up display to show TPS data with ign on.

first attempt successful. both TPS data flowed and MAP showed like 96 so i guess commnications with ECM. tried again later and WP says cannot locate configueration file ? no longer can get WP to work.

com port on #4 in laptop as is WP. USB with radio shack adapter to serial.

what am i missing? what steps did i skip?

 

That R/S USB adapter sucks.

 

worked OK for WinALDL? same with Innovate LM1.
