BPWC - Calc

Howdy,

I have been doing calculations to determine the BPWC for use with my 383. I have a 84 Corvette, dual TBs, EBL & Ostrich. I come up with a number of 80.7 with a DC of 80%. This is based on the speadsheet published by ben73. Does this look correct? I ask because it is a large departure from what is in the EBL bin. Also, seeing how this is a pulse is it a time measurement for when the injector is on or off? I just want to make sure I have it straight in my pointy head.

A quick calc shows that BPC is in the ball-park for 2 120#hr injectors.

The BPC (base pulse constant) is a ratio of the engine displacement vs. the injector flow. The larger the displacement the larger the BPC. the larger the injector the smaller the BPC.

It is relative to the injector on time. As it is the starting point for the PW calculation.
