Traxion, question on your findings during head gaskets replacement

About a month or so I was searching around some old posts & foound your pics on head gasket replacement.I too am running a mini ram intake. You mentioned about how the mini ram affects the back cylinder a little differant. So you were going to cut back on the fuel at WOT.I have a set very similar to yours.I'm only running 24# injectors any recommendtions on what to set it at so I don't have the same problem that you ran into

The biggest telltale sign of what was going wrong was the plugs. I never really checked them. You live and learn. Now I check them (due to all of Bruce's 'Plug Reading' rantings). If you look at the old pic you can see how black the plugs are. She was running pretty dang rich. Make me wonder what that setup would have REALLY run in the 1/4 Anyhow, now when I pull the plugs there is no soot anywhere .... no black. Just a nice off-white (slightly tan). I can't really say what I did in order to accomplish this because its like comparing apples to oranges. I swapped to a much bigger cam, had my AFR190's ported, installed the AFR HydraRev, put in a new heated O2 sensor ... .. . and then retuned part throttle and WOT (including checking plugs).

Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.
