now i guess i was expecting too much, wanting to just change the fuel cuttof in tunercat and have my speed limiter drop to 70. that way i cant get myself into trouble on the interstate. but it didnt work. i could still go 80 and have nothing happen. why is this, what needs to be done? does the hack of hte 8746 from tunercat have a problem

Mine worked! I put it down to 40mph and the car died out when I "rolled" faster than 40 down a hill. If you're getting a vss trouble code then your ecm won't know the speed....no speed knowledge no fuel cut off.

well i think it was because i was at full throttle in 2nd gear. when i was on the interstate and in 4th, it did die at 65. ill check into it more tomorow and let you know it doesnt kill fuel all together does it? just back to idle right. cuz that would be bad.

My car died because I was going down a hill and the fuel cut off didn't slow down the car to 38. If it had slowed down to 38 then it wouldn't have shut off like it did.

ok. it wont shut off in 2nd at wot. but, if im in third cruising and creep over 67, which is what i have it off at, it will shut down, and turn back on at 66.

is it disabled somehow if im in wot mode and in 2nd gear?

either way, im getting rid of that shutoff, i cant stand going 65 here. i get passed by old ladies in minivans. in the far right lane
