Vac Regulators

Trying to get setup with the EBL and Aeromotive vac ref regulator.

Fuel pressure is reduced ~1lb with every 2" of vac.

I've heard that there is a mod that allows vac to reduce fuel pressure more than the above ratio.

Anyone heard of this?

va454,

Which Aeromotive is it? Mine is the 13301 and I believe that is a 1:1. In fact, RBob recently "persuaded" me to hook up the vacuum line. Runs great!
Based on my experience this particular VAFPR is a bit non-linear, which RBob adjusted using the BPC v VAC table in EBL.

It's the regulator designed for the LT1. 13307 is the p/n I believe.

I contacted Aeromotive. All their regulators with a vac/boost fitting are indeed 1:1 ratio.

RBob also set me up with the values for my Vac vs BPC table.

Once RBob set up the BPC values I verified them by eye. Turns out the idle FP was a bit lower than calculated, so we re-adjusted the BPC values to take the actual FP into account. If you haven't, I would confirm the calc'd values with what's actually happening on the motor.
