Got the Atmel 29C256 setup going, but need a 512k Flash chip

Am using the 29C256 with great success in my 92 SD TPI setup, but need a 28 pin 512 flash for my tranny computer as well as my 3800 SC Fiero puter. Anyone know where to find a 28 pin 512 flash chip? All I can find is 32 pin models. Let me know.

Looks like Atmel only offers the 512k in a 32 pin dip. You can go to the Atmel site and check over everything they offer. Here is a link to their product info datasheet for the AT29C512 series:

http://www.atmel.com/atmel/acrobat/doc0456.pdf

You will need adobe acrobat to read it though.
Maybe another company makes a 512k flash in a 28 pin, I would try to do cross references to other manufacturers to see if they offer something.

Hey MaDMax350. Noticed you got a 4L60-E. How are you sending a VSS signal from the tranny to the TPI computer?

I am using the VSS buffer from a 94-up S10 and going thru a speed signal adapter as shown on my website at: http://dtcc.cz28.com/fiero/fmods.htm . The S-10 buffer will represent the PCM in the diagram while the Fiero Speedo Input will represent your ECM. Let me know if you need any more info.
