This was posted long, long ago on the TPI board, in the midst of a discussion of the imfamous '255 g/s limit' on MAF cars and the possibility of a solution:

Max,
Believe me, the Red Devil and I know how much time is involved. The results are promising, however. There may soon be a ThirdGen running around with a stock MAF and mostly stock ECM that can actually [b]meter air over 500 g/S and calculate fuel correctly. There are just a few other nuisance problems to deal with, but it's closeer than I've ever seen anyone else come before.
Don't worry, when it's ready, you'll know.

I never heard anything, so I'm assuming the project has either failed or been permanantly put on hold, or was successful and I just never found out. At any rate, I think it's safe to let the cat out of the bag now. Just what exactly were you going to do to break the 255 g/s barrier? Problems along the way? Successes? Failures? Obstacles? Details, please!
