Prom Burning, Where to start?

Alright, I read Traxion article on Prom Burning. I know I need to get the pocket programmer, and I know I want to get TunerCat because of the graphing features. I went to their website and they have about ten different programs, add ons, or whatever they are. I just need to know what each one is used for, and which I need to buy to get started.

That's it, just the editor, what does all that other stuff do? What if I want that other stuff? How do I know if I want it or not if I don't know what it does?

The other tools are good but I doubt you'd use them.. The TDF editor would be good if you wanted to add to the latest Tunercat TDF for your ECM but not needed.
