Think I'm ready to burn

I've been running DataMaster on my truck (16147060 ECM) for the last few days and found that my BLM averages around 113. This makes sense because I put a bit hotter cam in and, if I understand right, that will cause me to run rich. My short term counts are usually below 128, but at some RPM/KPa combinations I run a bit lean around 130 to 132.

So, am I right to think that I can change my Base Pulse Width Constant to make it run leaner? Then work on my VE vs. RPM vs. Load table to address any lean areas?

Which way should I go with the BPW constant to runn leaner and which way do I go with the VE table to run richer?

Thanks!

Sounds like you have the right idea. Get the VE tables roughed in a little more like you've said and then work on some spark tables then go back to the VE tables(spark tables alterations will affect the VE tables).

Depending on how far off your numbers are is if you should just change the VE tables themselves or change the injector pulse width then go to the VE tables directly.
