Version 2.2 does not work with the 7747 160baud aldl despite the instruction's implication that it does.

Version 3.02 has sample 160baud files. It does require a PIC based hardware interface to work with 160baud.

3.02 is availible at ftp.diy_efi.org/incoming/

Ok cool. I checked my versions and I have 3.02. The thing is that its only setup to work with the AUJP or whatever.

It looks like there are provisions for programming your own "gauges" and that, but I know nothing about programming. I was actually grovelling and hoping someone had already made them, so they could pass it on to me.

The program looks much more able than the one I have, and would be great if I could get it to work.

I think if you look a little closer you will find that the 160baud files are provided.

No programming is required. You right click on a gauge to change it or right click on the blank area to add a gauge. Check out the Help section on the tool bar for all the specifics.

Thanks Brent, your the only fella here that helps me out with this stuff. I really have no idea what I'm doing, but I would like to!

I took a look at that and I see that the 160 Baud stuff comes with it. But I don't know about all that byte and formulas stuff. I played with it for hours and didn't get anywhere. I can't seem to find any info on which bits/bytes go to what.

Does CARCHAT allow you to "data-dump" tons of BLM vs MAP vs RPM data (for example), like Diacom and Craig Moates???????
