BLM vs. INT.

ok I already did a search a found some things but, nothing really was really what I was looking for. I orig. used the tech one at idle and saw that with the stock 350 tpi chip my fuel int. was at 114 and the BLM was 106 so I programed the chip for my 24# inj. now the fuel Int. is right on 128 but, the BLM is 114 what would you suggest to correct and get them to 128/128 I thought that if the fuel int. was at 128 the BLM would follow. when I rest memory they both are at 128. Do I need to adjust inj. bpw? or record the gram flow and adjust the maf tables?

The BLM will follow INT, but only if the INT is off from 128. I think of it this way. If the BLM is 114, and INT is 128, your BLM is a solid 114. Had the INT been 145 or something, the BLM would have slowly risen to some other number. I don't know how it works on your car, but I would raise the VE table for idle. However, my car doesn't adjust at idle no matter what I do so im probably not the best person to ask on idle issues.

The INT is like the "decimal point" when you divide. It is the "fine trim" of the injector.

There are constants to determine when the BLM should change based on how far the INT is from the BLM. On the $8D and $6E, it is 5. So if tthe INT varies greater than 5 from 128, the BLM will adjust itself and reset the INT to 128.

The exception is when you either hit the minimum BLM (108) or max 160. Then the BLM cannot adjust anymore and only the INT can.

Based on your original setting, you were extremely rich, changing your injector constant leaned it, but not enough. I have found that you may still have to play with the injector constant from it "rated" flow.

If I change the inj. flow higher yet the int. will go higher than 128 right?

Unless your universally off, you shouldn't have to change the injec constant. Remember it also changes the AE.
If you idle / low speed cruise is off just play with the battery voltage offset.
Messing with the MAF tables and scalers aint for the weak of heart
