TTS DataMaster

Has anyone ever gotten support from TTS?

I've emailed them a couple of times and have not ever heard back. I love paying good money for a product and not getting support.

Thanks,

Andrew is who I bought it from and I really didn't want to bother him about things that TTS left out of the documentation. The documentation doesn't seem to cover the version I have, although it is the documentation that ships with the software.

Oh, well. I can live without it, but it is kind of a pisser.

That is my main complaint.

I guess my reason for posting this is twofold. 1) See if there is someone who has successfully gotten support for DataMaster and find out how they were able to get that support. 2) Let other people know that, if they buy DataMaster, they should not expect very good support.

Here is a short list of what I am trying to find out from them. My screen and the data fields I have for my version of DataMaster (DataMaster 85 32-bit Version 3.3.0 Engine Calibration information: 91 to 93 trucks with 4L80E (a138)) do not match with what the documentation has. One data field called Ref Spark Adv in particular has me wondering if this is the actual spark advance or whether the Spark Advance field is. I think the Ref field is the actual spark advance the computer is using since it seems to be retarded (compared to the other field) during engine knock, whereas the Spark Advance field doesn't retard during knock. There is also an Async PW field that I'm trying to figure out. It's not the injector pulse width, there is a field named Inj BPW for that.

THere are a few more questions I would like to ask them, but...

I found the same thing, only with something else. it was BLM & INT. they call it Long Term Cross Counts & Long Term Adjust. I found some help in the help menu & the rest was affirmed here on line. I am sorry but I dont know the answer to your question, but hopefully someone here does. This sounds vaguely like something that glenn talked about, in regards to reconcilling your total advance to the what was being pulled out to what was being demanded & finding that they dont agree with each other.
