In the routine you sent me, c:/ b 00-16k.bin+your.bin=new.bin, it is still only a 16k bin. Is this correct? Going to burn a 29c256 today. Cross my fingers.

The routine is:
Go to a DOS prompt and type
COPY /B file1.bin+file2.bin file3.bin
file3.bin will be the first two files added together.
You have to tell DOS to "COPY" the files and don't use the "=" sign, although it may not matter. You have to use the "+" sign with no spaces between the two files you are adding together. When you get finished you will have one file that is exactly a binary copy of the first two.
I know well, I've been burning chips all night!
Gotta love it!!!
