computer-less tpi?

is this possible?
is there a way to reprogram the chip to act like a carborator? maybe give it constant settings at a given variable...
that way, i can eliminate other wires
keep the low end of the tpi
and save some sanity

You can really dumb down the system, and then have all the ills of a carbie. If your worried about too many wires, well EFI ain't the way to go.
If your doing a off highway vehicle you can rid yourself of a few wires, without hurting performance.
