What size fuel injectors

Can anyone help me with this fuel injector part number? Here is what I know. The TPI says "Big Mouth" on the intake. The number is 115(then a space)17086544 On the top stem of the injector is a "W" then just below it is the number "33". This is all I can find for now, if it's not enough someone tell me and I'll keep looking. This setup is "supposed" to be for a 350.

I can't help you with the injector size, but I have been finding that the "rated flow" often does not match. There can be a lot of reason why your injectors may not flow the rated flow; fuel pressure being the biggest reason. Incorrect "displacement" in the Cylinder size is another.

What are your BLM/INT values that you are getting from your scan tool. If you are getting BLM/INT values consistently below 128 and lower than 120 (rich), I would increase the injector size in the prom to lean out the engine. Conversely, if you are getting BLM/INT values consistently above 140, then I would decrease the injector size to richen the mixture.

Also, if you REALLY have a 305 and the eprom is a 350, your BLM/INT will be rich (below 128).

Hang in there, it's quite a learning curve. Sort of like trying to catch a fast moving train while it's moving.

It is most definately a 350, I took it .030 over befor installing it. I just took a short drive and at times the BLM was at 108, at other times @ 117. It knocks a lot under acceleration, even light acceleration, which has made me think its lean, but if my training serves me right, even a rich condition can cause knock. Suggestion?

Would it work to take a 305 man trans .bin and just raise the fuel values straight across to get into an initial ball park? I burned my first chip tonight, just changed from auto to man trans on my 350 chip. Put it in, and it fired right up!!!!! It was KOOOOOOWEL!!! I'm hooked.

You may not have the proper knock sensor. There are different Knock Sensors between SD 350s and SD 305s.

Based on your readings, I would start increasing the Injector Constant in the eprom to try and get an "overall" reading around 128. Then I would concentrate on the VE Tables.

Do a search on "P730 - VE Tuning"...I will see if I can find the post and bring it back to the top.

I really Appreciate it! BTW, I did not buy a new knock sensor, I took the one out of the 305. This makes a big difference?
When you say injector constant, you mean injector flow rate?

I found out today that the PN for my fuel injector changed to 17112285. This PN is for a 90-92 camero 5.7 ltr. The service guy told me it was a 35pph injector. Does this sound right? It seems a little high for a stock injector.
