Tuner Cat Definitions....

I bought the software and definition files off of someone... Anyway, I have the program installed and the definition editor installed, but I dont have anything else from him. Any ideas on if Im just missing a definition file or something? I need $8d and the one I show is ecm_42... Same thing?

Sounds like someone sold you the old demo package.
Should have just gone to www.Tundercat.com

Mask 42 is for the 747 ecm, and not at all like a 8D

Worst, I don't think the "licence" is transferrable entitling you to new TDFs. From TunerCat's perspective, how do they know the other guy is not still using the software? I would have a chat with TunerCat about this to ensure that you are now recognized as the current "registered owner".

With TunerCat, the $42 is "standard" and then you must purchase additional TDFs ($8D) if you need them. Then, if the TDF is updated, you just contact TunerCat to have them e-mail you the most recent version.

TunerCat is very good with the $8D TDF and is probably one of their best defined TDFs.

But do contact TunerCat and try to get yourself changed as the new "registered owner", if they allow "transferring" of software.
