aftermarket bins
aftermarket bins
I am having a hard time getting help burning and thought comparing the aftermarket bin with a stock one would help me understand more about burning. Is there any aftermarket bins on the net?Of course I would'nt want to use one of these cheesy bins for my 400 tpi but thought it would be good for educational purposes.I have another post on this board if you could take a peek.
It probably won't help you at all. I downloaded an ADS Super Chip BIN from a chip I got on clearance and the only thing that was changed was spark advance in the 90 and 100 MAP range. Most chip makers only deal with WOT and you'll probably want to spend most of your time tuning for partial throttle.
I personally prefer to start with a stock bin and tune from there. I don't trust those guys with my vehicle.

Some aftermarket BINS are all encoded anyway, so reading them is a waste of time. I did this with a friends hyperchip, to see what they modified, and it is all garble.
