WTB: MemCal to Pocket programmer adapter....

I went to the Digikey webpage in Traxions article and ordered this adapter. When it arrived, the UPS service made three attempts to early on in the day and then returned it to the sended (No loss it was COD) I called and told UPS to hold it but they didnt I guess.... So anyway, this things sorta a one time use piece, so does someone wanna sell theres? I dont use paypal anymore cuz my card info got stolen and used.... But Id be more than happy to do some sort of COD or something. If anyone is willing, email me at nomar116@yahoo.com or just respond here.

Paul, just take and stick some kind of wire into the memcal holes. For example I cut the excess off of resistors (or other things, caps, diodes) and slide them into the memcal then line it up in the PP ZIF and done. Just make sure the wires don't touch. It's not as easy as taking a header and sliding all 28 pins at once but it's not all that more difficult.

Digikey should accept payment through a standard credit card or a checking account debit card as well. If you do it that way, UPS will just drop it off at your house and leave it there. Although, Digikey might not like you after that stunt.....

I would get the adapter or something like it as it is far and away the easiest setup to use as you never have to remove the EEPROM from the Memcal... I really don't have one to sell though... You might be able to find something at Radioshack or some computer parts store that can be made to work..... not sure...

I dunno I figure once someone uses the thing once they dont really need it anymore... Digikey watned $20 for the thing when it got here, said like $3 on their webpage... Thats an aweful lot of shipping... Thats not why it got sent back, UPS dropped the ball and forgot to hold the thing. Any other ideas, Id prefer to jusy find a computer store like you said, but I dont know if Ill find what Im looking for...
