prom tuning for rear diff gear change
my tranny is a 4l80e which is the computer controlled assembly. my question is if i change the rear gears can a alter my speedo by making the appropriate changes in the prom constant tables.
i have three tables in the constants tables which says: mechanical 1st gear ratio
mechanical 2nd gear ratio
mechanical 3rd gear ratio
nothing for overdrive.
can i change these to for a diff gear change or do i have to change the vss?
